R. I. P.
V.W.Bro. Jim Evans - died 13th May 2025
It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of V.W.Bro. James Albert "Jim" Evans, our present Worshipful Master and Almoner, to the Grand Council above.
His presence. personality, and enthusiasm will be sorely missed by us all: he was an excellent and extremely committed Freemason, and a very good man. He was a good friend to many of us, and was always willing to help, advise, and assist his Brethren. There will be many Brethren in many different Masonic orders and Lodges, Chapters, Councils, Conclaves, Preceptories etc etc, who will be saddened and affected by his Loss.
He was enthusiastic and very committed to Freemasonry, especially the Order of the Allied Masonic Degrees, and the Dartmoor Council 200 in particular, of which he was a Founder Member. He has introduced more candidates to us than any other member.
He is remembered with fondness in this Council, throughout the Allied Masonic Degrees District of Devon and Cornwall, and the whole Devonshire Masonic community.
Rest in Peace, Dear Jim.
